Based in Lake Tahoe, I’m drawn to the rugged beauty of the Eastern Sierras, finding solace in the mountains where the wilderness serves as a counterbalance to a world of distraction—a place where movement becomes meditation.
Originally from the DC area in Fairfax, Virginia, I felt the pull of the west coast after graduating from university. I spent many years in San Francisco, embracing its vibrant culture, dynamic music scene, rich art community, and incredible food. I migrated to Lake Tahoe to follow my obsession for snowboarding—and along the way, discovered so much more.
Whether trail running, mountain biking, backpacking, or snowboarding, I seek out remote landscapes few have touched. Recently, I ventured into the world of ultra trail running, evolving from half-marathons to 50Ks. The peace of being immersed in the woods, surrounded by stillness, allows me to fully engage with the present moment.
In the winter months, I work part-time as a PSIA Level 2 certified snowboard instructor, driven by my deep love for teaching and the connections it creates. I love meeting people from all walks of life and learning from their unique stories and perspectives.
Art is deeply woven into my world, expressed through illustrations and capturing moments and landscapes through photography. My love of travel, exploring new cultures, and connecting with different languages continuously inspires my creative work.
